Time Has Passed us by...

Well, I have done it again. I have let the moments of time pass me by just as sand through the finger tips.

We have been going non-stop pretty much the entire month of July but I have been loving life. I went to Houston and saw my cousin Monica and her new little bundle of joy and had a wonderful time with the Hindmarsh family. I miss being so close to them but we are finally starting to slowly adjust to it. Two weeks after that visit Garon and I both made a visit down to SE Texas (Lumberton, Beaumont, and Groves) for the wedding of his brother T.J. We really miss the people but realized that we don't exactly miss the weather.

Meanwhile, two weeks ago, my cousin Corrie and her family came in for a visit for you sister (my cousins)'s wedding which happened today, August 1, 2009. It has been a crazy but fun-filled couple of weeks. We weren't exactly use to having eight people in our house all the time but now that we are approaching the go home time we are wondering what we will do once everybody is gone.

The past few weeks Garon and I both have had some eye-opening moments and I am so grateful when they come along. We have learned much about our families, each other, and most of all ourselves. There is nothing like taking a moment and stepping back to take a glance of the big picture. What I mean is when things get crazy and chaotic we tend to forget about the "end goal" and have a hard time seeing past the fog in front of us. We have so much to be grateful for and I cannot even begin to put it in words (mainly because I know I will leave a bunch of stuff out and that just wouldn't be good).

We are anxiously awaiting the quick approach of school which starts ummmmm...THIS MONTH...Garon will go back full time and continue working part-time and I will continue working - ANYTHING TO GET HIM THROUGH SCHOOL!! :) Love you Babe! We have recently started tossing the idea around of me going to school but are just trying to figure out how to make it work. I know that is what I NEED to do and it is something that I WANT to do. I do realize or hope to realize that I wouldn't finish school here in Arkansas but I so okay with that. Somehow the mention of going back somewhere in TX after his graduation keeps coming up but I keep reminding him that since we have met we have said we would like to live somewhere where they have four different seasons, a place where it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I guess only time can tell where we will go. Now, if Garon does go for his Masters which I believe he wants to do that would in about a year and a half put us in TX for that degree but who knows from there. But, all of this is a LONG WAYS DOWN THE ROAD...

Now that I have taken a step into the future lets come back to reality, we are here in AR, going to school, working and trying to pay the bills. Which means, we are NORMAL young married people who have an amazing road of love, laughter, joy, and friendship ahead of us. Life is Great!

I love you Garon and am so happy that I will be able to grow old and gray with you (try to keep out the gray part though)!!

Side Note: I tried to upload some pictures but after over an hour of waiting I gave up. Garon has got to clean out the computer or the uploader thing-a-ma-jig isn't working right...one day I will get some put up.

Life

So a few weeks ago I let the world know that I have been overwhelmed with happiness and no sooner than I speak trials tend to come my way.

Life is an interesting thing that I am so thankful to have. No matter how trying people, places, or circumstances may be I know that it is all going to be okay.

I am so grateful to have such an amazing husband who really cares about me and looks out for my best interest. I have been pretty much an emotional wreck for a week and he talked to the boss and is sending me away for a weekend so I ca relax and not worry about anything. Thank yo so much Garon for everything that you do.

All in all we are doing great. Ready for school to start (or more like be done) but that will be sure to come in time. I don't exactly know what all we do to stay busy but we tend to have something all the time.

Happiness

I don't know why but I have been amazingly happy the past few weeks and I am loving it. Life has been good. Nothing has really changed in our lives. We are still working eveyday. Garon is working extra through the summer to cover missed hours during school. We are looking forward to the upcoming semester.

My cousin Monica brought little Daniel Tucson Hindmarsh into the world Thursday 25 June 2009 and we are so excited for their family. You can see pictures and details on her blog, hindmarsfamily.blogspot.com

We are preparing a trip to the south in July for TJ's wedding.

All in all, life is good and no room for complaints. I am learning to look at the cup half full and I love it! It kind of stinks that it took me 23 years to figure it out but bettr sooner than never.

If you are reading this I hope you have a marvelous day and enjoy the sunshine.

P.s. If I am missing letters and stuff my keys aren't all hitting on the keyboard,it is tempermental...

My Wife is the Bestest!!

I want every one to know that I, Garon Tidwell, married the best woman in the whole wide world. My lovely bride tried to get up before I did but that didn't happen this morning. So I was ordered to stay in the bedroom. She had a surprise waiting for me and she didn't want me to ruin it.

Laura made me a wonderful breakfast and served it to me while I was still in bed. Hootnannie pancakes!! Some people call them German pancakes, but the name is not as important as the taste. She called my sister, Jacee, to make sure she had the recipe correct. It was a wonderful breakfast that gave me so many childhood memories to think about this morning.

Now, on to the gifts!! My wife went way beyond the little trinkets. She bought me a radio doc for my iPhone. It has a bright display, a remote, dual alarms, and sounds crystal clear! I have been looking at them but never thought she would get me one. I love her so so much! She also got me lots of sunflower seeds and sunscreen. Both of which come in really really handy while I'm at work.

I regret that I don't get on here more than I do. I am so grateful to have found the love of my life. She is the best person. She goes above and beyond to make me feel like the only person in the world. I absolutely love my moments with her when time stands still, and I get to be with her in our perfect little house, all alone in this world like no one else exists.

I LOVE LAURA!!!!!!
