Just a Little Update

Life has been a little crazy around here lately.  Last Tuesday I had to have my gallbladder taken out.  Since Jillian was about 1 month old I would have these severe painful attacks and we couldn't figure out what they were, the first couple I just passed off as my body just getting back in order.  After the 3rd attack I started to get a little worried and the 5th attack got so bad that I was throwing up because of the pain.  Garon took me into the ER on Tuesday the 4th  and I discovered my gallbladder was full of stones.  They sent me home with some good stuff and told me to call the surgeon.  I was able to get into the Surgeon on Friday the 7th and had surgery on the 11th.  It was a crazy little adventure and I am glad it is done and over with.  I am pretty much back to normal and I am so relieved that I will NEVER have to have another attack like that again.

Garon has started his semester and is taking a full load.  He missed his first day of class to take me to the hospital and nurse me but went in on Thursday.  It is going to be a full and crazy semester but come the end of December Garon will be graduated! :)  He has been absolutely amazing the past couple of weeks taking care of both Jillian and I.  When I couldn't move he would wake up every night to take care of her.  Today at church she did not want much to do with me at all, she was a Daddy's girl all day long.  When Garon had to go to work she threw quiet the fit but got over it pretty quickly.

Jillian is growing like a little weed.  At her 6 month appointment she weighed in at 20 pounds and was 27.5 inches long.  She is rolling everywhere and wants to crawl so bad.  She is scooting backwards and gets frustrated because she gets further away from what she wants.  Anything and everything she can get her hands on makes its way to her mouth.  We have started to introduce the sippy cup and she is slowly getting the hang of it.  Jillian talks all day long, today in the car she was talking and got louder and louder until we turned and looked at her and then she gave us the biggest grin.  (I have really got to get the camera out more often).    We love this little girl so much, all the crying the first three and a half months of her life was definitely worth it to get to this point.

I will get some pictures up soon, don't have them on this computer.

Yikes!! Surgery stinks anyway, but then you HAVE to come home and do your motherly duties as well! I hope everything turned out okay for you guys! Your little girl is so cute! It would be weird to buy pink things. Seriously.

Surgery was not fun but I am a whole new being. It is so wonderful knowing I will never have to have another attack.

Thank you for the wonderful comments of my beautiful baby. She is so fun and sweet. Traci I thought buying pink would be strange too but I got use to it.
