So my lovely wife Laura gave me access to the blog and now I get to post my very first blog! I just want to take a minute to brag that my wife is the best in the world! In one week, she put up with me being stressed out about midterm tests, she moved our stuff from a garage across town and then unloaded everything, set up our house and made it a home, and THEN, to it all of, she through together a wonder birthday party for me with friends and family at the home!
We had approximately 13 people, including ourselves, over at the house yesterday. It was supposed to be a surprise dinner for my birthday, but it was a little hard to keep a secret when Laura is cracking the whip at me to put together pantry units and computer desks to get the house unpack in time for company. Laura worked all day and all night to get the house ready. She had all the boxes unpacked and almost all the pictures hung by the time company started arriving. We really cut everything close to the wire. I didn't even buy a propane tank for the grill until around 5:40 and the party started at 6!
It was wonderful and I want everyone in the world to know that my wife, Laura the Great, is the best woman in the world!!!!

A Birthday...
Happy be-lated blog birthday to my Hubby! Garon's birthday was Tuesday 17 March and we had a nice quiet evening at home, kind of. Garon has class on Tuesday evenings so we did not do anything big. He wanted me to make dinner so I did his favorite, meatloaf, onion potatoes, green beans, salad, and broccoli (for him). My amazing aunt made a like triple chocolate birthday cake for him and I graced his presence with a new grill for our new patio. He was pretty excited, not so much about putting it together but about the whole situation. I love him so much and it was a year ago on that day that our lives truly changed FOREVER.
Saturday (the 21st) we are doing hamburgers/hot dogs with the family for his "birthday party" so it should be fun and exciting. We are working hard at getting the house all together by then so it can be enjoyable all around.
Well honey, this one is for you "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"! I love you!! :)

So here is a little glimpse of where we started and soon to come is where we will be. Things are going great and there has been lots of hard work (by the all AMAZING Garon, Kelley, Jason, and Dad). Things are going well and we will be moving things in this weekend, March the 14th. I hope you enjoy the pictures and pretty soon we will be up for visitors!

Cold! Again??
The weather has been absolutely CRAZY!! Every other week it seems as though we drop back down to the freezing range. Earlier this week we had weather anywhere from 70-80 degrees and it was absolutely beautiful outside. Today we are featuring a misting semi-sleeting wetness outside with a spiking temperature of 35 degrees if even that (the wind is blowing so I am sure that is making it a little colder). Don't get me wrong, I am not ready for the heat of summer but at the same time where is SPRING?
Garon and I are staying busy with our new callings. He is the new Young Men's President and I am the Relief Society Secretary. The house is almost ready to be moved into, we will be posting pictures shortly, and work and school makes for a busy week. We are looking at a possibly move next week! Time has definately flown by quickly. Garon and I have been married for nine and a half months and while we were talking the other day we couldn't believe that it has been that long, it is a short while but so much has been done!
I suppose that is it for now, if you have anything you would like to see us blog about just let us know and we will see what we can do.
For now, I am going to take in the cold weather because I know it will be gone all too soon!
